A Call To Action for World Alzheimer’s Day

Last December I joined fifty colleagues from around the world for a Salzburg Global Seminar on Changing Minds: Innovations in Dementia Care and Dementia-Friendly Communities. I wrote about that extraordinary experience here: Sharing Knowledge & Building Collaborations: Dementia in the Alps.

Today, on World Alzheimer’s Day, we publish A Call To Action for innovative, transformative, and globally-relevant solutions within our own communities that look beyond drugs, healthcare, or a cure. We call for the creation of “Dementia Inclusive and Friendly Communities.”
